We are a start up social enterprise and have very limited resources.

Because of Warp It we have fully furnished our two rooms and saved thousands of pounds, meaning that

we are a step closer to providing much a needed service to children, young people and their families .

I have been with the NHS for years and saw the need for this service.

I was working in a department where there was a load of different files that were headed for the dump as they were not needed.

Nothing was wrong with them.

I carried them in plastic sacks on the bus to another site where I knew they would be welcome/needed.

There were so many I made three separate trips on the bus to get them to the other site

This is a great way of passing on pieces of equipment, furniture, stationary etc that would otherwise end up being disposed of!

The service is brilliant!

Receiving messages and information on a regular basis is immensely beneficial.

I love the fact that it redistributes unwanted items to reduce waste :)

It is fantastic to be able to recycle. When I have needed items, I have either found them straight away or I have been contacted soon after by using My Wish List on WaprIt.

Over the years on occasion I have seen a lot of reusable stuff nearly go to waste as there was no facility for services who would welcome the stuff to know it was available.

In the past I have physically taken lever arch/ring binder files that one dept on one site was chucking over to another at another site where I knew these were needed.

I have been with the Trust for some years now within a range of departments and have observed files being emptied and binned by some members of staff.

I think Warp-It is a fab idea because there can be a great deal of wastage around the trust with office equipment and furniture.

I think recycling our unwanted items is a great idea - "one mans trash is another mans treasure", and obviously saving over using landfill, let alone the Trust's pennies.

I sourced a chair as mine had broken and it was delivered within 2 days.

First port of call for new equipment and great to be able to re-use our surplus equipment.
